http://www.kjsstamppad.blogspot.com had a challenge to use the following colours : bright pink, turquoise, black and white. I had just gotten this heart tree stamp at Michaels, and was looking for the right challenge for it! This was it..I also used my new pinking hearts edge punch from EK Success, some gems, DCWV Jewel toned cardstock, and some gems. I stamped the heart tree in Stampin Up’s whisper white!

Mojo Monday (http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com)  had a good challenge today..different from the normal cards I create, in that it was a long card. So I found my papers..all from DCWV latte stack, and stamped my bella to adhere to the card. I coloured her with my copics, and added a bit of sparkle using my copic spica pens! I used a little bit of purple ribbon, and stampin ups scallop oval punch to finish it off! I hope you like it, I am very pleased with this card!!!

Wedding invite samples!

My girlfriend wanted me to experiment and come up with some ideas for her wedding invites! I took the challenge and attempted 2 samples last night. I hope to play a bit more this evening and try to come up with some more ideas!

Enjoy!

http://www.diecutsrusdesignteam.blogspot.com had an awesome challenge to combine a colour from my minds eye new line, and white.. I chose pink and white.. what better colour to choose to do a layout of my new angel and I. I used so many different fun things on this layout. First I cut my bazzill bling into 6×6 squares, both of them 2 shades of pink(sorry I dont remember the name of the colours), then I did the same with my gorgeous patterned paper that was dying to get used for months. I made a patchwork with the squares for my base, and used my martha stewart scalloped edge punch on the patterned paper.! Then I used 2 pictures of Abigail and I. I accented with gems, to add a bit of bling. In the center I placed 2 of my thrift store find silk flowers, with an accenting brad, and hand drew some stickle flourishes. Then I had to figure out what to do for a title. I was inspired by what my mother says to me all the time “Before I was your mom…” and then she finishes the sentence. So, I cut my title with Sure Cuts A Lot out of white.. for the journalling I took 3 paint chips in various shades of pink, edged them with the same martha stewart edge punch, and layered them. My journalling says ” I slept 8 hours a night, I got to shower every morning, I wasn’t complete”… all things applicable to life before I was Abby’s mom! Ithen tied some polkadot pretty in pink ribbon around the bottom.  I hope you like my layout as much as I do! I had a blast making it. Please feel free to comment!
