Category: Stampin’ Up

http://www.kjsstamppad.blogspot.com had a challenge to use the following colours : bright pink, turquoise, black and white. I had just gotten this heart tree stamp at Michaels, and was looking for the right challenge for it! This was it..I also used my new pinking hearts edge punch from EK Success, some gems, DCWV Jewel toned cardstock, and some gems. I stamped the heart tree in Stampin Up’s whisper white!

I used DCWV Sorbet patterned paper, bazill, my cuttlebug, and the happy birthday folder, some green ink from stampin up..oval all stamp set from stampin up, the scallop oval from stampin up, THRIFT STORE LACE (That was inked to match the card! It was cream initially!) I also punched the edge of the card with a scalloped martha stewart edge punch…. and I sooooooo love this card!! http://www.kwernerdesign.com had the colour swatch challenge you see above, and here is also my card! I used a bunch of different elements in this card! Including : stampin up 5 petal punch, ribbon, heard from the heart stampin up, seeing spots stampin up…stampin up ink in pumpkin pie and certainly celery…martha stewart edge punch, pop dots…love my card, and I hope you do too!

http://trimmiescraftchallenge.blogspot.com/ย has a challenge for a shaped card. They are also looking for new design team members…2 of them. I can only hope that this card is up to the par of some of the competition for the design team. I started with my Wild Card cricut cartridge, and cut the base of my card…shaped like a baby buggy. I used designer paper for the buggy..its so cute!!ย  I then embellished with lace, primas, and a fancy brad, as well as some stickles and faux stitching. I cut the words new arrival out of purely pomegranate Stampin Up cardstock.. then to add a bit of something to the card, I cut the baby, who you only see her little head til you open the card. I cut a bow to put in her hair, that matches the buggy, and you cant really see it, but added some little earrings…two tiny drops of star dust stickles. It was such a fun card to make… thanks for looking!!! Click on the small pics to view larger!

Hugs, and happy Scrappy Days,

Cath
