I made a lot of cards in the past week…here is one of them…the rest will be posted when my camera is fully charged!! :) I really like this card.. I made it for my friend Erin who is moving to Vancouver to attend Emily Carr School of Art. She loved the card, as it was totally “her” colours! I love it too!!!newones 010

Happy Scrappy Days,

Catherine :D

WOW! All I gotta say is WOWZ!! Apparently people who find Cricut’s golden tickets for the cruise will also be given one of these machines as part of the prize! WOWZA! I wish I was one that found a golden ticket..now I know how Charlie Bucket feels..lol

cardsI am decorating Zachary’s playroom in Sesame Street characters..as it is his new favorite show, and he loves his “mo” aka Elmo.  Here are the first 2 I have cut! Lots more to do, as his playroom is the biggest room in the house!

http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/  challenge was hard for me…I had a difficult time figuring how I would do the “Bookplate” look..then it dawned on me…DUH FAB FINDS with my cricut expression…so away I went and the rest came together nicely. I used my cuttlebug flower dots folder, american crafts paper, a cute angel stamp, and stickles!

So today and yesterday I did a bit of scrapbooking..here is what I accomplished!
Enjoy..the one about me…uses NO CRICUT! Shock..its 10 things I love about myself, and 5 things I want to change..a fun challenge for me! The 2 Christmas ones are of Zachary..the Mickey one is not done yet..but soon..and the one of Ian and I is from when we were newly in love!

Well my diva buddy Kristen (http://divascrapping.blogspot.com) made some adorable altered notepads for Christmas gifts..I loved the idea so much that Im doing it for some close friends for our gift exchange!! I also made them each a necklace that reflects their personality! I did the notepads a bit different than Kristen, in that I used mini composition books…remember those from school? Well I found them at my dollar store today 4/1$! Too good to pass up! I bought 3 packs of 4…I only had to alter 4 of them for the gift exchange, but figured that to have back ups is a good idea…cos when you find something like that, its usually gone the next time you want it! Anyhow, here are my gifts for Liette, Christenna, Robyn and Katie! (Hence the L, C, R and K!)
Hope you enjoy!
Have a Scrappy Happy Day AND its Xmas Eve tomorrow! YAY!
Catherine
